WOW! I genuinely can't believe I have not put an entry on here for over 10 months, though the site has still been kept up-to-date! To be honest, it's been a pretty crazy year. Earlier this year I was really busy all the time. Since the summer, it has calmed down a little, but this has allowed me a bit of time to focus on some of the other things I've been up to. I've just started something called 'LivelyWood Pictures' which is a name I will be working under for Photography, Video and Film production which is something I'm looking at doing alongside my acting. I will be developing short scripts and making them into short films, producing videos and hopefully being able to do Photography projects too, all with the help of some new kit I've bought myself recently. This will take a little while to get up and running properly but hoping to be able to get working on some projects as soon as possible. Other than this, I'm currently rehearsing for a short play called 'Tree-Hugging' which is part of the ScribblerFest Short Playwriting Festival at South Hill Park. The play will be showcased with another 9 all selected by professional dramaturgs and directors. Dates are 13th-15th October 7.30pm (plus 2.30 matinee on 15th) at South Hill Park's Studio Theatre. Follow this link to book tickets: http://www.southhillpark.org.uk/3312/shows/scribblerfest.html For anyone who might want to follow my more personal and informal updates, you can follow me on Twitter @CliveNkickin aswell as following @LivelyWoodPics for updates on that side of things. Thanks for dropping by, see you soon! C x

Hi guys. Firstly, as we're right on top of Christmas at the moment, MERRY CHRISTMAS to you all! Hope you're doing well! Not too much to update you all on really. I'm currently writing a new script which i hope we be developed further and produced within the next year, and am applying for lots of castings and auditions. Hopefully lots of exciting new things for 2011! I have been busy with a whole manner of different things. I recently was granted some funding from vinspired, a national volunteering organisation for 16-25 year olds. The funding was to run a project that i came up with the idea for. It was to be olympic inspired so i chose to do a big recycling project where volunteers and participants get to create models/statues of olympians, for example, carrying out a sport - and doing that with recycleable materials. It should be lots of fun. I will try keep you updated nearer the time. If anybody is on twitter, you can follow me by searching @CliveNkickin - if you drop me a tweet, i will try follow you back :-). This is probably all for now, but thanks again for dropping by. Do come back! Have a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year. Be Good, Stay Safe!

Ok, hello everyone! It's been real busy for me lately, so apologies for lack of updates. I just wanted to touch base with you all. I've worked on a couple of things lately that I can't actually mention, but other than this, it has been the odd short film here and there, working in the real world and a bit of voiceover work too. Voiceover is something else I was looking at getting into earlier in the summer. Unfortunately I simply haven't had the time to work on that much at all. One of the voiceover bits of work I did was for a charity called Mighty Men of Valour. I was being a commentator on a short animation. The use of this work will be going out to schools and young people across the country as an educational peice. I will try get a copy of it on here once I've received it. I'm working on a short film pilot this coming week, filming for a local college. I really liked the script, so am pleased to be on that. It's slightly scary how close it is getting to Christmas. Even scarier that I turned 22 recently. I'm looking for 2011 to be a good year career wise. If you want to get in touch at any point, please visit the contact page and drop me an email, and don't forget to keep an eye on the website for any updates and changes :-). All the best. C x

It's been just over a month since my last entry here but it feels like far longer! It's been a hectic time with having had some filming that was pretty constant, aswell as deep rehearsals for the show i've just finished of 'Fantastic Mr. Fox' of which, i might add was (and excuse the pun...) 'FANTASTIC!' Some great fun was had, and a great show created. I immensly enjoyed playing Mr Fox and recieved some great feedback from it all aswell. It seemed everybody who came to see was very impressed with our interpretation of the script, adapted by David Wood and had a great family time out enjoying the children's Roald Dahl classic! I now move on back to rehearsals for my next show, Marat/Sade (which is a complete contrast to Fox) and will also be performed at the same place as Fantastic Mr Fox was. At the same time, i will be continuing to audition for more things like short films, theatre and other projects which may arise. You know the best place to keep updated, HERE! Catch you soon!

Hey everyone! Apologies for the delay in entry on here, been upto lots of things. Just got to say, i'm excited to be on board of the theatre performance 'The Fantastic Mr. Fox' at South Hill Park. We had a read-through at the weekend and we all think it's going to be a great show! Also, for those of you that know Marat/Sade (I always think of the film One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest), I'm going to be playing Duperret in that again at South Hill Park. Got busy times coming up! I've done quite a few shows at South Hill Park before, and it's a beautiful place! I'm looking forward to getting back on the stage there. Am also still on the eye out for short films. Watch this space to keep updated!

Well, what do you know, it's December! Hasn't the year gone quick! You might be able to spot a little bit of Christmas theming to the top of the page! Thought I should keep within the Christmas spirit. Anyway, so, last week i prerecorded some Vox-Pops ('Voice of the people') stuff for the gameshow which I'm hosting this week for West Herts Media (College), and this Thursday going to be filming the studio parts in front of a live audience. I'm rather excited about that. Then next week filming a short film called 'A View To Die For'. This is the end of this blog entry, but make sure you come back soon to keep up-to-date :-). Take care guys. C x
